Navid Joseph Noorparvar’s practice has been primarily focused on family law for nearly twenty years. During this time Mr. Noorparvar has tried scores of cases as lead counsel and even more as second-chair. Mr. Noorparvar is well-known for his calm and charming demeanor during negotiation and while communicating with clients; however, he is equally known for his ability to become a fierce and dominating advocate when it is called for. In addition to family law matters, Mr. Noorparvar handles criminal defense matters, especially traffic violation cases, where he is especially well-equiped: Mr. Noorparvar sat as a Judge Pro Tem in traffic court many times over the years.

Mr. Noorparvar uses his unique background and his training to increase the efficacy of his communications with his clients and to assess the personalities and weaknesses of his opponents.

Navid grew up in Iran before immigrating to California. From there, Mr. Noorparvar graduated from UCLA with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy, before heading to Oregon for law school.
